Finished "The Increment" and started "Space Demons"

IncrementSo I finished "The Increment" (by Chris Ryan).
I enjoyed this book. It isn't one of the best books I have read but it was kept me entertained. The book is around 400 pages long, with small print writing so it is not for those who doesn't like long reads. The book contains swearing and sex scenes so it is for mature teenagers and adults. The book has a prequel called "Greed" and should be read before reading "The Increment". This is a good book if you want to waste time as it is entertaining and action filled.

Plot:The book is about how an ex-SAS (British Military) soldier, is sent to destroy a factory in the Ukraine. After he has destroyed it, he finds a deadly secret held by the British Government- a drug which makes people crazy and which was tested on 50 soldiers.
The main character Matt and his friend Elenor set out to find out more about the drug and to find an antidote for the soldiers that have taken the drugs. While he is doing this, a deadly team of soldiers is trying to kill them.

Space Demons:I am 50 pages into this book and I am not finding it enteratining. The pages I have read so far are a little childish and boring. I am not enjoying this book and I hope it improves later. This might be for people who are around 10-14 years old and want a short book to enjoy over the weekend.

Plot:Andrew has gotten an awesome, experimental game from Japan. But this computer game is different. It won''t just drawn you in, it will make you part of the game. And there may be no coming back.

  1. An honest appraisal, Eric. I am sure your comments will attract some readers who just want to be entertained. As for 'Space Demons' - this text works well at year 7-8. It is a bit dated now in light of technological advances in recent years. Still, kind of fun that the kids can enter the game. A junior matrix!
