Finished Space Demons

Well, I finished this book called Space Demons.
I didn't enjoy it. The book was too childish and a bit clique. When I picked it up, I thought it was going to be about epic space battles and a futuristic, exciting book.
The ending is short, and feels slightly rushed. The book was also boring. It didn't suck me in like other  books such as "The Hunger Games" or The Cherub Series. I wouldn't recommend this book.

The book is about how a 12 year old boy named Andrew, who is given a new game from Japan.
The game sucks the player in and makes them literally part of the game. There are other characters, named Elenor and Ben. Elenor is a slightly poor girl who has to keep moving around Australia so her father can find work building houses and doing odd jobs. I know she is poor because she has to buy second hand clothes and can't afford a home.
Ben is the best friend of Andew, and he is a bit of a wuss, because he can't stand up for himself.
Anyway, the game sucks them in too, they play for a bit but the game gets more real when Space Demons- enemies they have to fight in the game- come out and follow them everywhere.
